Clinical Director, BCBA (Contract)

Lead clinical oversight of Zhao Academy's behavioral support programs. Partner with the founder on service design, quality, and supervision of Behavior Technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical quality and ethics across behavioral support services
  • Develop and review individualized support plans
  • Provide supervision to Behavior Technicians (BT/RBT)
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners
  • Contribute to program development and clinical policies

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Experience supervising BTs/RBTs and working with families
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Alignment with Zhao Academy's mission and values

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Provide case supervision, assessments, and parent training for children and families in our behavioral support program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans
  • Supervise BTs/RBTs on assigned cases
  • Deliver parent and caregiver training
  • Participate in team consultation and case review

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Comfortable with home-, school-, or community-based delivery where appropriate

Part-time · ContractCalifornia

Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (BT / RBT)

Deliver direct behavioral support under BCBA clinical supervision, following individualized support plans and collecting data on progress.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized support plans with children and families
  • Collect data and support progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with caregivers and your supervising BCBA
  • Participate in ongoing training and feedback

Qualifications

  • RBT credential preferred; BT candidates working toward RBT are welcome
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reliability
  • Genuine care for learners and families

Tutors and learning coaches

Provide tutoring and learning coaching for students with a range of learning profiles, including neurodivergent learners.

Responsibilities

  • Design individualized learning plans based on each student's goals
  • Deliver engaging, responsive sessions
  • Communicate regularly with families and our team
  • Support executive function and study strategies

Qualifications

  • Teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience
  • Experience with diverse or neurodivergent learners a plus
  • Warm, patient, and student-centered

VolunteerRemote

Volunteers and advisors

Contribute expertise in nonprofit operations, community outreach, content review, or program evaluation. Advisory roles may include short-term projects or ongoing engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support program development, outreach, or operations
  • Review educational content and resources
  • Provide guidance in areas such as governance, fundraising, or evaluation
